The proposed design is as unique and distinctive as the sound of an incoming
Huey or Cobra. Careful consideration was given to what would be an
appropriate memorial that reflected the
H-1 community as well as meeting
memorial design limitations set by the Marine Corps Historical Foundation.
Hopefully you will find that the memorial design is a fitting tribute to our
fallen warriors and should the need arise (and hopefully not), space is
available to accommodate those warriors who run to the sound of chaos and
may make the ultimate sacrifice as they build on a proud
HML-167~HMLA-167
legacy.
